Chrildren's Print Inspiration

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Be inspired with children's prints. If you do nothing else, check out print and pattern. It's filled with great inspiration on a daily basis. Above are designs for doodle pads from print and pattern and created by ann kelle designs.I love this one found on print and pattern from UK kids designers Mini Modern. The look is clean and modern and could easily be translated into prints for outerwear.

Speaking of clean and modern, from "Pillows and Throws" the above "traffic wall art" is created by dwell studio.

This bear print via print and pattern is created by hamburgerpanda out of San Francisco. The prints are booth naive and irreverent. A great combination in kids snowboard clothing. The link connects direct to their on line shop.

I'm sure you have seen the great prints at Tea. They are very modern prints that some how feel very nostalgic. I love that!

Along the same lines as Tea is marimekko. Again, a wonderful mix of modern nostalgia.

Although naive prints aren't new, the look is still strong. The above prints are from illustrator andrea dieterich. Her look is, above all, fun and very modern. Great for kids and toddlers in the outdoors.

From "Pillows and Throws" the above "fifties fish" is from The Marooshka Collection.

Finally, my favorite. Artist Sara Jane creates cards and art that draws on nostalgia yet work in a modern home. This one specifically speaks to the girl within us and connect with the wonder of youth and the outdoors. You can shop for product at her online shop. Perhaps inspirational for T-shirts and marketing material.

May your New Year be filled with equal parts Wonder, Naivete, Respect for the Past, and Hope and Vision for the Future.
